How the Miami Transplant Institute Saved Vivian

Dr. Giselle Guerra is the nationally and internationally recognized Medical Director of Transplant Services and Living Donor Kidney Program at Miami Transplant Institute (MTI), a unique affiliation between Jackson Health System and University of Miami Health System.

Dr. Guerra focuses on integrating medical services, improving outreach, and coordinating public relations. She also plays a key role in reviewing and restructuring patient flow, and helps organize and implement quality assurance projects. Dr. Guerra also holds the position of associate professor of clinical medicine at the UM Miller School of Medicine.

Luke Preczewski is the Vice President for Transplant at Jackson Health System in Miami. He oversees the Miami Transplant Institute [MTI]. The MTI is one of the largest and most comprehensive transplant programs in the United States, and is a joint initiative of Jackson Health System and the University of Miami.

What You Need to Know About the Jackson Health Foundation

Keith R. Tribble is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jackson Health Foundation (JHF). JHF is the fundraising arm for Jackson Health System (JHS), the most comprehensive healthcare provider in South Florida and the largest public hospital in the country.

Through the generosity of compassionate donors, the Foundation seeks private philanthropic funds to improve JHS facilities, provide the most advanced equipment and technology, and support its priority projects. The Foundation’s fundraising efforts allow JHS to provide life-saving medical care to all patients, regardless of financial need, and improve health care delivery, enhance the hospital experience for patients, and promote wellness and preventive medicine. Since joining JHF, Mr. Tribble and his team have secured over $40 million in charitable contributions.
