Medical Marijuana in Florida

Jim Fried recently was approved for his medical marijuana card. He discusses his experience and the current and future opportunities for medical marijuana in Florida with:

– Nicole “Nikki” Fried, President and owner of Igniting Florida LLC, Tallahassee and Ft. Lauderdale, which focuses on government consulting and statewide lobbying.

During the 2016 Legislative Session, Nicole Fried played an integral role in the passage of HB 307, relating to the usage of medical marijuana for those who are terminally ill. She has become one of most visible faces and a key lobbyist in Florida’s burgeoning medical cannabis industry.

She currently heads up the local and state lobbying team for San Felasco Nursery D/B/A The Green Solution, one of the seven Florida licensed MMTCs.

Nicole Fried was just elected chair of the Board of Directors of Broward Days, a Broward County-based non-profit legislative advocacy organization on behalf of the citizens of Broward County.

Jim and Nicole discuss the current law, what is legal today, and the status of the industry’s future.

– Ivan Field, CEO, Medical United LLC – MarijuanaDoctor.com, Miami, FL. With locations throughout South Florida, this firm is on the leading edge of medical marijuana.

Jim and Ivan discuss why he got involved in this business and what he sees today and in the future.
