Marketing ‘Beisbol’ en Miami
Juan Martinez – Director, Multicultural Marketing, Miami Marlins: Juan is in his 14th season with the Marlins and fourth as the director of Multicultural Marketing. Prior to his current appointment, Juan was the manager of Hispanic Sales and Marketing. He began his Marlins’ career in 1999 managing the Marlins en Miami store.
Prior to joining the Marlins, Juan worked for the City of Miami’s parks and recreation department, as well as at the City of Coral Gables Youth Center. Born and raised in Miami, he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School and then received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Barry University.
We will be discussing the differences between the Marlins’ Anglo and Latino marketing programs. We will also discuss how to get a job in sports marketing and administration.
