See event details below- all are welcome!

Join distinguished child advocates, members of the judiciary, elected officials, and civic leaders as they recognize Broward’s truly remarkable advocates for children. Celebrate the accomplishments of passionate community leaders who support the mission of Florida’s Children First by making positive changes in the lives of abused, neglected and disadvantaged youth in or aging out of foster care.

Manny Johnson is back on the show to address an issue that is not only personal to Jim but one that all consumers should be aware of- possible drug interactions with CBD oil. Manny talks about all of the many compounds of a full-spectrum hemp plant, one being THCA, and how it’s not necessarily wise to elevate one above another. He discusses how there are countless hemp products on store shelves that have not been studied & proven safe for human consumption. He urges consumers to get involved and voice the need for federal safety and purity standards for all cannabis products.

PART 3: 1000 Museum

Jim gets a private tour of a new luxury development in downtown Miami, 1000 Museum. On the way, he talks with Brad Meltzer, president of Plaza Construction, about the development of this cutting-edge structure (which happens to have the only residential helipad in Florida). Brad discusses other projects Plaza is involved in and his approach to working with sub-contractors.
