Brian Gale
Brian is Vice Chairman of Cushman and Wakefield of Florida. Through his 29 year career, Brian has overseen the signing of leases totaling over 18 million square feet, with a value of close to $3 billion. He currently represents over 8 million square feet of office space in South Florida, with buildings in Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Airport West, Wynwood, Design District and Coconut Grove and has clients which include Metlife, AEW, Nuveen, Cain/OKO, Dacra, Prudential, IP Capital, CP Partners, RealOp, L&L, Related, Brand Atlantic, Wheelock, Banyan and Rockpoint.
Brian has done five of the ten largest office leases ever in the Brickell/Downtown market. In 2002, 2007, and 2016, he was the recipient of the BOMA “Broker of the Year Award” for Greater Miami. Brian’s team has won “Brokerage team of the year” for 2021 and 2022. From 1993 to 1999, Brian was a broker in the Miami office of CB Richard Ellis and from there he spent the next 18 years as Principal of Taylor and Mathis. In 2021, Brian’s team won “Office Team of The Year” by the South Florida Business Journal.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was previously President of the Brickell Area Association, a member of NAIOP, and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, New World Executive Committee. He’s a former Board of Trustee at Temple Sinai in Aventura. Brian is currently a board member of The University of Florida Bergstrom Real Estate Advisory Board.
