Test Drive Day at Fisker Miami

SHARE

Test Drive Day.

I enjoyed my first Saturday off in I don’t know how long. I am usually at the office by 8:15 on a Saturday .

This Saturday, I had the opportunity to sleep in late (8:15) and then relax on the balcony – weather was sunny and very nice, I read the Miami Herald and of course the Saturday edition of the WSJ. After which I followed Dr. Victor Francs recommended fitness & vitamins routine and enjoyed a very “relaxed” morning until I went to Synagogue.

After recharging the spiritual batteries it was back to business and…

CASA JIMBO to meet John Mahoney, Mr. SocialMedia305, as we set out to Warren Henry Automotive to select one of Larry Zinn’s super slick Infinity’s to test drive, which I already have two. Our cruising mobile would either  be the JX or the M. We then headed over for our “Test Drive Day” at Warren Henry Automotive.  Infiniti, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover where our target vehicles and our tour guides – Larry Zinn and Raymond Penuela were waiting.

It wasn’t until we arrived, that we realized our day was going to focus on the Fisker Karma.

Once we arrived we saw a Black Fisker Karma parked on Larry’s Infinity lot, you notice the style of this car immediately and once we asked about it, we realized how much Larry loves what he does. I can always tell when he is on the show with me – he has a special positive energy and that he is a “car guy” to the core. Raymond is full of product knowledge, and what a great product it is. Plus, he has a great sense of humor, which sealed the deal on a great day and a long test drive.

We were able to slip in a few Jaguar’s – not your granfather’s car anymore – We saw a very cool one with an orange and bule interior – GO GATORS! And a smoking hot all black convertible too! AWESOME!

However, back to the Karma, what caught our eye right away were the exotic lines – Wow, they were hot. They look great – ‘Diamond Dust’ paint, Leather interiors, recycled wood and a hundred miles to the gallon!  Totally green.

As you’ll see in the video, we kept driving past the gas stations laughing how we almost never need to go into one and how the gas mileage meter would read 400mpg.

The interior was very comfortable and had lots of auxiliary plugs and leg room! It had a great sound system, just as we started off; Hotel California played on the local station and put us in the driving mood!

As we approached the ‘Runway’ behind SunLife Stadium, Raymond suggested we put the car in its Sporty Stealth mode  – so quite that it needs to make fake noise, speakers are located underneath the car so passer-bys know that the car is there. Everyone stopped to look – The Donut guy loved it – but more on that later.

As we glided down the test drive area next, all you could hear were the sounds of Air, no different than a Boeing at MIA International, it took it 8 seconds to hit 60 and completely on a charge from its battery packs,  just let it fly, said Johnny, and we both put our driving skills to the test.

Even Raymond got into the fun – in between spouting cool stats and facts about the car.

Great time!  Great handling! Great interior. GREAT FUN!

We then wanted to see how the car performed in real life – so – we took it on a DOUNUT RUN!

I needed to make sure I did not scrape the ground with the nose of this true sports car. Parked parallel – who was getting donuts at 3 PM?

NO ONE BUT US.

By the way: Got a nice selection lemon, curlers, and Bavarian cream – someone always complains you didn’t get a Bavarian cream – powdered, Johnny had to have his toasted coconut. I had the lemon.

Then the baker needed to come see the car. He loved it too – OF COURSE!

Reluctantly, we returned our test car to its perch next to its charger. Thanked Larry and Raymond and went on my way.

I need to get one of these – VERRY COOL! May need to get a used one first – but hey – the car is recycled in the first place – very green- the car of the future and more models are coming soon.

Check out the video & watch the Twitter Tape for pictures but most importantly, Tune in this Thursday as we discuss our day with Larry [LIVE] on Fried on Business!!

About Our Guests:

Emme Gisele-Louise Benoit

Emme graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Supply Chain Management, but deep down, always knew real estate was the path she was meant to take. So, she followed her heart and pursued that passion. Now, she is a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) student at the University of Florida, a journey that was largely inspired by her father's successful career as a commercial real estate developer.
Emme’s fascination with real estate isn't just about the industry itself; it's about the impact it has on communities and landscapes. She loves seeing how built spaces come to life, transforming areas and changing the skyline. It's about bringing a vision to reality and witnessing the profound changes that follow. This passion drives her every day and fuels her dedication to the field.
Currently, she serve as the Co-President of the UF Women's Real Estate Society and as an MSRE ambassador. These roles have given her the incredible opportunity to lead, inspire, and connect with like-minded individuals who are as passionate about real estate as she is. Through these positions, she aims to empower women in the industry, foster a supportive community, and advocate for sustainable and innovative practices in real estate.
Emme’s journey in real estate is a testament to following one's passion and making a tangible impact on the world. She is committed to learning, growing, and contributing to the industry in meaningful ways, and she is excited to see where this path will take her.
