Ronald L. New Solutions for Mood Disorders
Our UHealth guest is Dr. Edmi Cortes Torres, assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Chief of the Mood Disorders Unit at University of Miami Hospital.
She will talk about the unit, along with other services UHealth has to help people coping with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Patients can even admit themselves.
