This show talks a lot about facts and figures and trends and projections. But it’s also about kindness and goodness and sharing and positive energy.
And no where did I see more of that than when I attended Lauren Book’s reading of her own book – Lauren’s Kingdom – at Books & Books at Bal Harbour Shops.
What I saw were beautiful young children bright-eyed, excited and participating with Lauren as she read a story designed to empower families to discuss the important topic of personal safety with their children.
Simply put, you have got to get this book. It was a wonderful experience, and I hope every child in the world gets the kind of attention and true love that Lauren showed that day.
Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous people out there who have other intentions with your children. Be careful. Look for the signs. It’s called “grooming,” and you can learn more about it here.
People, you have to protect your kids. I believe so much in this message that I use my paid-for radio time to promote it every chance I get.
Get to laurenskids.org. Buy the book. Join us for the Walk In My Shoes awareness event, going on now.
