Her responsibilities are in three major focus areas: 1-Enhancing investment advisory and administrative services, 2-Building and serving their client base and. 3-Callibrating training and client service processes. Maria was a Senior Vice President at both Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services (4 years) and Northern Trust, N.A. (26 years) where she was responsible for serving large and highly sensitive clients. She worked closely with individuals, personal & irrevocable trusts, foundations & charitable trusts, non-profit & institutional, individual retirement and agency accounts. She provided administrative, charitable, family, investment, board governance and fundraising consulting. Maria has the highest level of client service experience and has assisted clients with personal income, estate and fiduciary transfer tax planning as well as planning related to charitable trusts and gifting techniques. During her tenure, Maria also served in a variety of management roles with supervisory and management responsibilities. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Barry University and earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation. She is now a candidate for the Certified Financial Planning program. He is a Ph.D. in Naturopathic medicine. We discuss healthy living.
• Lauren Book -5:40– Executive Director, Survivor Lauren Book was a victim and is now survivor of child sexual abuse. Because of her experience, Ms. Book founded Lauren’s Kids along with her father, Ronald Book, in 2007. Under Ms. Book’s leadership, the non-profit organization works to prevent sexual abuse and help survivors heal. Book was born and raised in South Florida where she currently resides and directs Lauren’s Kids. Lauren graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Creative Writing, and she is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Community Psychology and Social Change and Non-Profit Development at the University of Miami. Lauren has been recognized for her outstanding contribution to education relating to sexual abuse and for her work within the community

Emme graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Supply Chain Management, but deep down, always knew real estate was the path she was meant to take. So, she followed her heart and pursued that passion. Now, she is a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) student at the University of Florida, a journey that was largely inspired by her father's successful career as a commercial real estate developer.
 Emme’s fascination with real estate isn't just about the industry itself; it's about the impact it has on communities and landscapes. She loves seeing how built spaces come to life, transforming areas and changing the skyline. It's about bringing a vision to reality and witnessing the profound changes that follow. This passion drives her every day and fuels her dedication to the field.
      Currently, she serve as the Co-President of the UF Women's Real Estate Society and as an MSRE ambassador. These roles have given her the incredible opportunity to lead, inspire, and connect with like-minded individuals who are as passionate about real estate as she is. Through these positions, she aims to empower women in the industry, foster a supportive community, and advocate for sustainable and innovative practices in real estate.
